Los Angeles, CA · Brand, Product & Growth Leader
Fifteen years integrating brand, product, marketing, and operational strategy to drive measurable customer and business outcomes. I've owned P&Ls, built teams, founded a company, and led at scale — always at the intersection of data, creativity, and execution.
About Me
Some people take the safe path. I've always been drawn to the harder, more interesting one.
A decade at Mattel gave me the foundation: how to build genuine emotional connections with consumers, how to own a P&L, and how to think about brand as a business lever. I led global franchises, ran a major licensed portfolio out of New York, and helped shape corporate strategy through one of the company's most challenging revenue periods. But brand at a large company only takes you so far — I wanted to learn how growth actually worked in the digital world, so I made the jump.
At eSalon I took on full ownership of the eCommerce and growth function, scaling the business through data-driven performance marketing, full-funnel P&L management, and a relentless focus on the customer economics underneath the numbers. It confirmed something I'd suspected: consumer obsession translates directly into growth when you're willing to let the data lead.
So I left a good job to test that conviction from scratch. Co-founding Dutch Pet meant no revenue, no team, no guarantees — just a belief that everything I'd learned about brand and growth could be built into something real. It could.
Amazon came next, and with it a challenge I hadn't anticipated. I joined to lead product marketing for Alexa, but quickly saw that the products our team needed to do our jobs well didn't exist yet. So I built them — and in doing so, found myself moving from product marketing into product management, eventually leading AI-powered discovery on the Amazon.com side of the business. It's the same consumer obsession, applied to a harder and more technically complex problem.
Each move added something the last one couldn't teach me. Brand informs positioning. Growth informs experimentation. Founding informs everything. Product informs scalability. P&L accountability ties it all together.
I hold an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a BA in Economics from Pomona College, where I also played NCAA basketball. I'm most energized when a role demands that full-stack thinking — and is ambitious enough to mean I'll have to keep growing into it.

Beyond the Resume
Two Ironman triathlons finished. 2.4 miles swimming, 112 miles biking, a full marathon — back to back. Endurance sports taught me more about resilience and preparation than anything in my professional life.
2× Ironman FinisherI coach youth basketball, baseball, and soccer across the LA area. Watching kids develop confidence and find their edge is deeply rewarding. I played NCAA basketball at Pomona College — the sport never really leaves you.
Basketball · Baseball · SoccerYes, I play pickleball. Enthusiastically. It's the perfect synthesis of competition, social connection, and accessible skill development. Come find me on the courts in Mar Vista.
Mar Vista, LAI approach cooking the same way I approach everything else: pick a hard thing, figure it out, then move to the next challenge. Right now that's homemade pizza from scratch — dough, sauce, the works. Inspiration comes from NYT Cooking, the occasional AI assist, and recipes that have been in the family for decades.
Builder in the KitchenI run a Prusa Core One and design parametric parts in OpenSCAD. Recently designed a full set of custom baseball bag tags for a youth baseball team — multi-color, full roster, batch generated.
Prusa Core OneBased in Mar Vista, a few miles from the beach. Solar-powered home. Deeply invested in my neighborhood, my family, and the belief that work and life should make each other better.
